How Boise Smash Began
Boise Smash is a family owned business that came about in September 2024. High Demand for a quality smashburger at an affordable price created an opportunity for the owners to bring Boise Smash into fruition.
The opportunity to launch a Virtual Brand or Ghost Kitchen inside the West End Food Co allowed Boise Smash to flourish in a downtown market quickly. We are hoping to open a new location in a brick and mortar where our customers can dine in by the summer of 2025.
About the Boise Smash Menu
We wanted the Boise Smash Menu to be simple yet exciting. We knew that if we could create an incredible tasting burger that left our customers full for an affordable price that we would be a success.
We only offer 4 smashburgers including the Bronco Smash, Buckin’ Bronco Smash, Jam Smash and Mushroom Smash. Each one is completely different but are able to satisfy everyone’s cravings.
House-Made Sauces
A crucial element to any great burger is the sauce. We make every sauce by scratch. We wanted to be unique in our flavors but also give a little of familarity to our customers.
- Bronco Sauce – This sauce goes on our Bronco Smash and is a twist to a classic burger sauce. Our Bronco Sauce is heavy on Mustard but also has some familiar burger sauce flavors.
- Buckin’ Bronco Sauce – This sauce goes on our Buckin’ Bronco Burger. We took our Bronco Sauce and spiced it up with some fiery seasonings and other ingredients.
- Truffle Sauce – Original we used our Bronco Sauce for our Mushroom Smash but felt we could elevate it even more to a new level. Our Truffle Sauce includes a lot of herbs and citrus and really makes the mushrooms and caramelized onions stand out.
- Jam Sauce – We are so close to perfecting our Jam Sauce for the Jam Smash. We are currently using our Bronco Sauce but will have the new Jam Sauce ready to go in January 2025.
Our Incredible Brioche Buns
Another crucial ingredient in making a delicious burger is the bun. After trying multiple options for months including a potato bun which is the most popular bun for smashburgers, we found that the buttery Brioche Buns not only have tons of flavors but also provide a great fluffy texture for a smashburger.
Our Brioche Buns are delivered to us daily from a local baker in the Treasure Valley. We make a delicious compound butter that is spread on the top of each bun.
